I would like to thank everyone that gave me constructive critisms along the way, including friends and the judges. I really appreciate them.

Aww :3

Wow this hack was the first one I played and man was it a good one. The colors are vibrant and beautiful, the level layouts are fun with many different branching paths to explore and the music is pretty damn catchy. I did run into a few bugs here and there... nothing game breaking but a lot of times it'd have to do with springs. Like a spring would try to shoot me up a path but instead I'd get stuck in a wall.

This didn't happen too often though so it was still a lot of fun.

Dashaque @ 2019-12-02 23:07:11

Also is there a power up... or power down that makes you go slower or was that another glitch I was running into?

Timaeus @ 2019-12-08 08:58:32

It is a slowdown monitor. The arrow down one. It turned out to be not that good. I will remove it or nerf it. Thank you very much.

Romulo @ 2019-12-03 04:32:44

The game art is really very good, both sonic and background levels are very beautiful. As far as the songs are concerned ..... I really liked the songs of angelic bay and forgotten land, I couldn't like the songs in the 3 remaining acts.

-Sonic seems to tap dance when braking XD

-For some reason sonic is slow in some acts, maybe when it destroys the monitor with down arrow? I don't know if it's intentional.

Timaeus @ 2019-12-08 08:59:32

It is a slowdown monitor. It turned out to be not that good in execution. I will remove it or nerf it next time. Thank you very much for your words.

I like this hack, art is really awesome and unique. Music is pretty decent, but I think original compositions for each zone would be more fitting than covers/remixes as SMPS. Levels are fun to play too imo. Overall I really like this hack and I would enjoy it even more in potential next release.

Timaeus @ 2019-12-08 09:00:21

Do you really think I can compose something XD

Thank you very much for the support along the way, dude.

This is a huge step up from the last version. Can't wait to see future updates!

Timaeus @ 2019-12-08 09:00:58

Yeah. When I look back, it is hard to believe that it changed this much. Thank you so much.

Jdpense @ 2019-12-05 19:08:53

I really loved the improvements to art and layouts! Although, I wasn't really a big fan of the first boss, since I didn't like how Eggman kept randomly shooting projectiles after each hit...I wasn't able to dodge the attacks that well....

Overall I feel that this was the most improved from last year, well done! ~

Timaeus @ 2019-12-08 09:02:18

The boss can be beat easily if you stick to the left corner and jumping over him, make sure to hit Eggman's head instead of the capsule. Thank you very much for your nice words.

I really like the visuals and how this hack has its own art style, level design has some really good challenges and very satisfying speed sections, there's some spikes and enemy placements that you should take a second look though. But the special stages....they're very unfair sometimes, the goal placements isn't the best and knowing that it could happen I used the stage select cheat... sorry, but the controls are very good. good job dude! ;)

About those obstacles, it was intentional. I wanted to make some obstacles more creative and more challenging than just running and jumping, but I still made it so there is alot of speed and flow to cover it up. Well, I let the stage select cheat there if people are interested to see the things that are not included on 1.7, so I could receive feedback. If you know ways to improve the special stages, let me know. Thank you very much for the words, dude.

The graphics aren't much from my taste, but it's impressive how this game evolved since the last time I seen it. I'm seeing that our conversations in Discord had effect (positively) at the overal quality of this hack. The changes and the unique styles of visuals makes its direction to point straight to a good future. I knew you was capable of it. It's a very promising project. I really want to see more of this project, Timaeus. Nice job. Keep up improving!

Timaeus @ 2019-12-08 09:06:54

Yeah. Our talks really had an effect on it really. Thank you very much dude!

nick46 @ 2019-12-07 21:21:37

This improved A TON from last year. The graphics are great (although I did have a hard time seeing some things, though that may be my poor eyesight), music is amazing, level layouts are fun and contain a lot of ways to complete a stage, it's just fantastic. Well done.

Timaeus @ 2019-12-08 09:08:05

Aww. Thank you so much dude. I am glad you liked this new one as well. :)

Timaeus @ 2019-12-08 09:09:52

I wanna thank everyone for the nice words. They are very important to me and I am super glad that my hack was enjoyable to play. It was a tough road since right now I cannot find other ways to share it. Thank you very much :)
