Playing the demo was just just a lot of fun, the characters are great to control, the areas are beautiful with great landscapes, for sure it is the mod that I most hope will be finished, because only with these acts I can see the great potential that this mod may have in the future.

I'm using a PS4 controller and it keeps asking me to assign the C button. I tried using Steam's controller config but it doesn't show anything for a C button. Any help for this would be great.

also I REALLY look forward to seeing what you come up with but one thing.... could you make it compatible with the modernsonicboost mod? like if you use the modernsonicboost mod it changes the title screen and changes sonic to modern sonic and adds the boost to sonic!

Well I think that would be really hard making a mod that changes alot of things in the game compatible with a mod that gives 1 character 1 ability and a sprite change.

but idk or you can switch mighty with modern sonic or put it into entirely new charactor slot! so you can still play as classic sonic but because its megamix heres a few ideas if you could add to modern sonic! one: the stomp, its basicly the hammer drop but has a bigger hit box to hit more enimies, two: the slide, it allows you to go through very small gaps.

this is an idea you dont have to do this

God, the new movesets are so good that I really hope all of them get seperate releases to be used in otherwise base game in the future.

also for future updates can you make a configuartion for the light speed dash animation like change the animation to spring twrill from the spring ya know

So this mod uses keypress D as button C. I had to make a seperate JoyToKey setting just for this mod to stop Debug Mode from activating.

Also, how do you swap characters?

Dude, learn how to google...

You download the program that let you set any keyboard button to your controller (But I'm afrain you could not use Xinput controller like Xbox one)

Then by trial and error you understand what the hell weird controller setup the mod is using. Then set everything as you wish using JoyToKey

Wow. Just wow. I just finished this mod and I can definitely say I'm blown away by what was presented so far. Hope you guys finish this mod and the soundtrack my God the soundtrack is a banger. Kudos to the composers for making a wonderful soundtrack cause I need it in my library right now! 11/10

WOW. This is one hell of an example of how much Sonic Mania modding has progressed.

Everything included here is amazingly polished. The levels are vast and feel like they've truly been designed with every character in mind. The new art is amazing, and the soundtrack is filled with absolute bangers. It really feels like playing an all new Sonic game.

How do I make this work with an xbox 360 controller? Pressing X just goes into debug.

Screw xbox controllers, use controller emulator as I mentioned below. Maybe if you don't have not Xinput controller (Dinput) - it could be way harder to do it. In that case I'd google something like this — "how to change xbox controller layout|mapping in game that do not allow that"

Is it possible to bind C to a controller? I couldn't work it out.

Hi. I see that it's a major issue by now. I can have "C" button on my Xinput controller, but I hate the buttons placement. Original sMania don't support Xinput gamepad configuration AFAIK so I will use a Dinput gamepad. I'll set to it the odd default button configuration by Xpadder - a keyboard to controller emulator, and do play the great mod as good as I want it to, while waiting a project to live on.

Xpadder is not free, but there is bunch of free ones that do exactly the same

While I use some emulation-controls preferred by me for about 15 years (WASD+JKLUIOP+NB+Y whatever, Connectix Virtual Game Station made me love it, now it's forever)

This is odd and embarresent. I thought the unset keys for player 2 makes a bug and set 'em ti Arrows and additional keyboard numbers. The result is totally the same!

This whole mod is amazing in my opinion, from the menu screen to the new movesets. And the fact that it's compatible with amy mania is just fantastic. I think Megamix won for sure.
