SADX Multiplayer

This mod adds local multiplayer support to Sonic Adventure DX (PC, 2004), including split screen and a custom menu. If you want to play online, you can use a remote play service.

Features
- Co-op and battle mode trial stages (up to 4 players)
- Split screen with multiple camera support
- A custom menu to access the multiplayer mode
- Multiple character sound bank support
- Support for fishing, hunting, shooting and other gameplay mechanics
- Compatible with many mods (including level mods like Tree Tops, character mods like Klonoa or gameplay mods like New Tricks)
How to install
- Install the SADX Mod Loader if not already set up (extract into the game folder and hit "install" in the manager)
- Download the input mod if you don't have it and extract it into the "mods" folder
- Download this mod and extract it into the "mods" folder
- Enable both mods in the SADX Mod Manager, make sure the multiplayer mod is at the bottom of the list
- If the multiplayer menu is disabled, download a completed save file or finish a character story

Outright thought something like this would never be possible nearly 20 years ago. Back then texture edits were all the rage. Now, this breathes new life into an old game. Playing a game splitscreen with friends was the standard when I was a kid, and this expansion provides that for one of my favourites.
