This is a Sonic Generations mod that recreates the gameplay from the Sonic Rush series. Modern Sonic's controls and boosting gameplay are heavily modified to feel closer to Sonic's gameplay in Rush. Rush places a larger focus on maintaining boosts than in Unleashed and Generations especially since rings never refilled the boost gauge in Rush and you had to mainly rely on constantly performing tricks in the air or on grind rails to constantly refill the gauge. On top of that, if the boost gauge is filled to the max, there's a brief period of having infinite boosts and you can keep that period going via more tricks otherwise the gauge will go down on level. This makes Rush's boosting gameplay a lot more engaging while still being intensely fast. This mod recreates all of that especially since it allows Sonic to perform air tricks from springs, ramps, and regular dash rings, plus it allows him to perform the double jump after launching from those 3 elements. The airboost mirrors Rush's air attack post springs, and stance switching on rails can also rack up boost energy. This mod also implements the Sonic Advance 2 boost mode where in both the Sonic Advance and Rush games, after Sonic runs at max base speed for a brief period of time he'll gain a speed increase followed by after images to signify that you're in boost mode. In Advance 2 & 3, this mode was Sonic's greatest speed, but in the Rush games this mode is basically intermediate speed between Sonic's base speed and the speed of the aura based boost which is his maximum speed. In those games it could also be activated via dash panels or boosting. This mod implements how boost mode worked in Rush, except there's no after image but instead you'll hear a boost soundeffect to signify that you're in it if you haven't already activated it via boosts, dash panels, or highly revved spindashes. Lastly, this mod implements slope speeds in which just like the Rush games when Sonic lands on an incline with enough speed or while rolling down one fast enough, he'll gain slope speed which doubles your acceleration for your base speed and is extra speed on top of your speed in boost mode or while boosting.
On top of all of this, spindashing and rolling from my Modern Momentum Spindash mod is included in this one, except it's without the Adventure spindash since the Rush games never had that type of spindash. Ironically my Modern Momentum Spindash mod was basically derived from this mod while it was in WIP.
