After the events of Sonic 2, Dr. Robotnik is on his quest on Angel Island to locate an alternative energy source that he can use, for his still-in-repair, Death Egg. Now with the help of the Super Badnik units, this work can be a lot easier, but with his business somewhere else on the island and his Super Badniks easily damaged by a blue blur, who can take down the blue pesky needlemouse and his friends if he ain't present for action?
The answer to that is his newly developed "Dr. Robotnik's Mega Self Propelled Bombs". Built as automated self defense mechanisms and a way to chase down anyone who dares to defy the order of Dr. Ivo Robotnik, the giant bombs can literally destroy the island all in one blow. These are also active when properties of "Robotnik Inc." are destroyed. And he wants to use it now, but to who exactly...?
As he thinks about it, a beep from one of the camera monitors caught his attention. It was Sonic and his buddy, Tails!
"That's just it! I'll just test the SPB Units to those two! Prepare for mass destruction, Sonic. Once I get you out of my way, nothing will stop me from conquering Mobius! HOHOHOHOHO!"
He laughs with malicious intent, as he initiates Operation: "Rings 'N Bombs".
Chaos of Chili Island or Chili Island is an S3AIR gameplay mod that includes the gimmicks from the titular game, Pizza Tower. From combo meters to stress-inducing timed sequences, it'll pump your adrenaline like never before!

It's good overall, but leaves a lot to be desired for me personally.. If I may make some of my own suggestions: (this will be continued in a string of replies since what i have to say goes wayy over the character limit)
1: I feel like levels should force you to play them in their entirety with both acts mixed into one level, and then be forced to run back to the start. Bosses could stay in tact, I just feel like having Pizza Time be regular act 2 with a shorter time limit is kinda anti-climactic and boring. At the very least I'd appreciate it being a toggle. (I do understand that this is very subjective though and would probably take a lot of work to implement.)
2: If you didn't already plan to, please make the gameplay apply to all characters (preferrably including Extra Slots) rather than just Sonic, I had also downloaded the Reimu submission from the contest to try both at once only to be disappointed by the lack of the Chili Island mechanics when playing as her.
3: PLEASE nerf Pizzaface's hitbox to be how it is in Pizza Tower. Having it be his entire sprite instead of just his nose leads to a bunch of infuriating deaths. (In addition, you should also add his mechanical whirring so you know when he's nearby, as I ended up having loooads of BS deaths to him when attempting Lap 3.)
4: This is another subjective one, but I'd also appreciate being able to toggle the death animation that occurs with Pizzaface for a more traditional death, or just cutting straight to the Time's Up! screen, as the one that currently exists gets kind of annoying for me real quick.

Again, it's pretty good overall! I understand that its a work in progress and I respect the effort, I even wanted to make a mod similar to this myself at one point (but couldn't because i have 0 experience in coding 3AIR mods) and hope this mod continues to thrive! 3. We could shrink the hitbox. Also the MSPB Warning...we could do that and add an icon if it's near or far.
Also, I'm sorry for the ear bleeding. My dumbahh screamed just to get my voice into the mod. Pardon me for the screams.

(also about the scream- yeah i get that honestly that's understandable. would still appreciate a toggle for that though)
2. We're planning on making Tails and Knux playable for C. Island 1.2, including compatibility to Extra Slots. We are also planning on returning the Pizza Tower Abilities back on the mod, albeit maybe a toggle option to balance the gameplay.

We planned that the Chilli Time only happens in Act 2. We could make it that you can play both acts, but that would be a lil difficult for our boi Krispy.
Hey Yall! Krispy Here. Giving a tip that if you use taunt when SPB hits you. It pushes him back! Also hitting 10 badniks or more. Press up and taunt to use super taunt, thx!
I LOVE this mod! I can add my Pizza Tower addiction to my S3Air addiction!
Few things to note:
1. When aiding Sonic, Tails himself can get hit by the bomb, and that'll count as ME getting hit. I dunno if it was unintentional or not, but I don't think it should be like that...
2. Super Sonic isn't immune to the bomb either, and I thought immunity was a shoe-in... I feel like he should be, but that might just be me though
(Also how do I consistently get a P-Rank, because I swear that was just by accident)
Hey, Grenbi here. Thanks for playing the mod, since Krispy is not active; I will answer those.
1. The mod is recommended to play as Sonic only for now, don't worry, Tails and Knux are planned to be playable in 1.2.
2. MSPB is meant to work as Pizzaface (obviously.), he only kills you in one touch. (infact this will maybe changed in the future if youre Super Sonic. No promises.)
3. You P-Rank a level by just doing Lap 2 and no hit.
All you do to P-Rank is complete Lap 2 without getting hit and getting a S-Rank worthy score? Sounds easy enough. I thought it was by keeping a combo the entire level on top of those things, but I guess that's a bit of work with how spaced out the enemies are.
Also, how does one access Super/Hyper Sonic if transforming is replaced with taunting?
Grenbi again, I will answer your answers too real quick.
1. By the lack of enemies (yes) and rings, you just only need to not get hit and get S Rank.
2. Maybe an input glitch.

Hey everyone! Grenbi here, I have heard that you people are worried/having problems with some of the bugs, I will explain some:
No parenthesis - Ignore this bug, doesn't do really much at the game, press cancel when it pops up.
Pop up at the end part of Angel Island Act 2 - Also ignore this bug, it removes the annoying cutscene that is not planned for the mod.

I don't understand why people send the beta version, they send the full version at once, there is no reason to send the beta version
It's very cool and everything but what I want is Luigi's mod so that Mario is no longer alone xD
