Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Dash! - Restored is a modification of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - Dash! originally designed for low-end phones.

DESCRIPTION

This project's goal is to present what Sonic 2 Dash might have looked like if it had employed the original Mega Drive graphics (the original game's sprites were low-resolution versions). It's a visual and audio hack as of this build. Utilizing both PNG graphics and MIDI music to its advantage, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Dash Restored illustrates what could've happened if the game had been more faithful to both its high-end version and the original Mega Drive title.

CONTROLS:

• ​​4/6 or Left/Right = Move left or right
• 2, *, # or Up = Jump
• 1/3 or Left Up/Right Up = Jump and move left or right
• 5 or Up = Look up
• 8 or Down = When idle, then Crouch/Look down. When moving, then roll.
• 7/9 or Down Left/Down Right = Automatically Spin Dash at left or right (You can also Spin Dash via crouching and pressing 5)
• Right Softkey = Pause

MISC.

The J2ME (Java 2 Micro Edition) platform is likely new to most people, so here's a link to several emulators for J2ME. Below are some specs required to have the best experience (which you can do on most emulators via settings):

• Resolution is capped at 240x298.
• Limit for FPS is at 15 FPS.
