Mean Bean Tsuu is a hack which aims to be a sequel to the original game, featuring new mechanics from Puyo Puyo Tsuu, as well as a story more in line with that of Japanese Classic Sonic canon. This demo consists of a 4-stage prequel story, showcasing the outcome of the original robots from Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, and their last ditch efforts to please Dr. Robotnik. As the game is still early in development, it still follows Mean Bean's original mechanics.

This hack is interesting, the edges with the ghz and mtz scheme look great and the new coconuts portrait sprite is so great but it doesn't match the art style of the rest (maybe they haven't been changed yet?) I honestly expected more from this hack but this is on the right track!
Hey, I want to say that this is super cool to see. Mean Bean (and the original Puyo Puyo in general) definitely deserves more love!

Really impressive work on a Sonic game that's not commonly moddified. These remixes really slap hard!
Cool hack, only criticism I have is the "Tsuu/Tsu" naming scheme, since this hack still features the OPP ruleset and not the Tsu/2 ruleset (being able to counter/offset garbage), it comes off as a bit misleading. The new graphics and music are great though, I look forward to further devolpments on this project.
Man, I really love the new Coconuts' portrait.
