Windmill Isle Act 5

Windmill Isle Act 5 is an new stage created using the assets from Windmill Isle from Sonic Unleashed. This is an updated version of the Windmill Isle Act 5 mod from last year. This update contains new routes and added enviromental detail. Full changelist is below.

  • The first section of the stage up to the first quickstep section has been completely redone with multiple routes
  • The bridge section after the mountain spiral path is now a short 2D platforming section
  • The first drifting section now contains enemies that must be defeated in order to activate a pulley and a shortcut to goes over them
  • The first 2D section now has a grind rail that goes through the loop
  • Added button prompts for quickstep, sliding, and drifting sections
  • Added more environmental detail to parts of the stage that felt empty
  • Added two dash rings and a pulley that near the beginning of the mountain spiral path to help with landing on it
  • Added more types of enemies
  • Added the green and red variants of houses
  • The stage and hub world now uses textures and materials that more closely match Sonic Unleashed
  • Improved camera work throughout the stage
  • Replaced some normal ramps with trick ramps
  • The ramp that leads into the waterfall section now has fences that prevent you from falling off
  • Every house has been remade with better surface normals and polygon count
  • Now compatible with Score Generations

This mod requires the Direct 3D 9 Ex or the Direct3D 11 mod or it will crash
