Sonic is alone. (yes, the dot is part of the title) is a Sonic 1 hack I created back in 2024 for Halloween. It was an attempt to make a creepypasta Sonic hack that sells its eeriness without the use of common clichés associated with it, meaning there are no jumpscares, no hyper-realistic blood, and definitely no Sonic.EXE – just a quiet, decaying world. Will you keep moving forward, even as everything around you fades into meaninglessness? Or will you look for an eScaB3 somewhere out there?

CW: themes of isolation, mild flashing lights, and visuals that may trigger trypophobia.

Notes about the bonus hack: Sonic is still alone. is a totally serious sequel released for April Fools' Day 2025. It explores Sonic's slip into insanity from the isolation (though really it's just the same hack without the dark filters and instant level cuts — basically, a more gameplay-focused version). I still consider it part of the canon, though.
