Ultimate Cream Cheese Flavor

By ClaireStarsword

Ultimate Cream Cheese Flavor is a character mod for Sonic 3 A.I.R, replacing Tails with Cream the Rabbit and her chao, with a customizable moveset based on her appearances in the GBA games. Current version includes:

  • The iconic Chao Attack that automatically aims at the closest enemy, and the alternative Chao Ball Attack from Sonic Advance 3, where Cheese dashes forward in a straight line to attack;
  • A Swim Ring skill inspired by Sonic Advance 3, where Cream can avoid sinking into water and stay afloat on the surface, and/or float upwards while underwater, depending on your chosen setting;
  • Ability to pick the appearance of the two extra chao that join you while Super, including Chocola, Hero Chao, and other cool Chao types;
  • Ability to pick between different life icons, in the style of S3&K or Sonic Advance 3;
  • Extra Super theme taken from Sonic Dream Team;

Known issues:

  • Unlike Tails, Cream cannot damage enemies while flying, so you must have the Flight Cancel option enabled to be able to beat the Marble Garden Act 2 boss;
  • Touching the moving wall of Hydrocity Act 2 while swimming causes deadly collisions issues and is not recommended;
  • The Swim Ring may fail to work if you've just sank into water while standing in a moving platform;
  • A few sprites are still unpolished, in particular the ones for the Original rotation setting. It is recommended you play with Smooth or Mania-Accurate rotation for the best experience;
  • There are a few graphical oddities with Cheese in cutscenes;
  • There are also minor graphical oddities with Cream as player 2 in stages with water.

At first I was thinking this was kinda lazy but when I did look we had no accurate implementation of cheese the closest we got was a super flicky.
