Extra Slot Modern Amy

By Zombstech

Amy, from the modern timeline arrives 1992 (or maybe 2013 idk) for helping Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles to defeating Dr. Ivo Robotnik (aka Eggman) to avoid the existance of the Death Egg Mk. II and Sonic 4!!!

This mod features:

  • Modern Amy in her own character slot
  • An unique moveset based on a non-rolling jump, a hammer spin performed when pressing jump while jumping, and a hammer spin with a small impulse performed when pressing Down + Jump, and the good ol' Super Peel Out!
  • A new title screen when you start your game with her
  • Ending and special stage sprites for Amy!
  • The possibility to select Amy in the secret character selection in the sound test
  • Menu Recreation compatibility (and dependance) for letting you saving your game with Amy

Requirements:

  • The Sonic 2 script decompilation and RSDKv4 Decomp.
  • The Menu Recreation Mod by Leonx254
  • And... please, place the Menu Recreation mod below Extra Slot Modern Amy to ensure correct performance.

I started this project in 2023, and after a two year hiatus and a "final" release, I thought that it would be good to really finish it and entering the SHC. Thank you for reading my description and playing my mod.

WARNING: Spindashing with Amy while underwater in ARZ could crash the game. Please avoid doing that while underwater. Also, don't forget to install Menu Recreation mod and placing it below Extra Slot Modern Amy.

When I start a new game with her, it skips the title screen and goes straight to EHZ Act 1. Is there anything I'm missing that's making it skip the title screen?
