PRESENTATION
Back in 2005, Sonic Jump was released via the "Sonic Cafe" mobile service in Japan. Then, in 2007, a remake was released internationally via the "SEGA Mobile" service (also known as Sonic Jump 2 in a few regions). And in 2011, an Android port was released via the "Puyo Puyo! Sega" mobile service only in Japan.
And in 2025, Sonic Jump Anniversary is a game mod project in collaboration with GdGohan to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Sonic Jump!
Sonic Jump Anniversary is a mod of the Android port of the Java version of Sonic Jump that gives quality of life improvements to the game and additional features such as multiple soundtracks and languages, Shadow the Hedgehog, a map editor, and many more surprises!

SHADOW STORY (UNFINISHED)
In Sonic Jump Anniversary, there are 2 stories available: The Sonic Story (main story) and the Shadow Story.
The Shadow Story is a retelling of the Shadow Story in Sonic X Shadow Generations. However, this story is unfinished, as GdGohan brought this idea very late in development.
If you want to see this story, select Shadow first in the Character Select Menu, then select Shadow in the story select menu.
CHEAT CODE AND HIDDEN FEATURES
Sonic Jump Anniversary features a cheat code to access all stages!
To activate the cheat, all you have to do is press 7 times on the BACK button of the Android navigation bar.
LEVEL SKIP CHEAT: After activating the cheat, pressing the BACK button during a stage will make you clear the stage instantly.
MILES "TAILS" PROWER: In the Character Select Menu is Tails hidden playable character. He moves like Sonic, but can perform a triple jump.
MULTIPLAYER MODE: The Multiplayer Mode allows you to play with another player via Wifi connectivity. The other player's game canvas takes a part of the screen.

Nice update, dude! I just can't seem to get out of the options menu (that CRT filter looks SICK! I really want to use it, but the options never seem to save for some reason).
The extra options do not save when you close the game, they work while it is running.
There are two crt filters
Saving the game doesn't work. After closing and restarting the game, progress in Story Mode is reset.
If you have activated the cheat, this may affect, try not to exit the game during zone selection, check if saved by entering zone selection again, and I recommend checking if the storage permissions are allowed, the permission to access all files, something like that
it's peak :")
Little late to say this now, but the "Classic" version of the Green Hill music has an issue. The percussion track of the MIDI isn't set to the correct channel, and is instead being played as a piano. I'm not sure if this is the same case in the actual original J2ME version, but I do know the MIDI ripped from it has this problem.
