To continue celebrating Fearless: Year of Shadow (+1), STH2006 Project has returned once again this year for Sonic Hacking Contest! This mod aims to showcase what you can achieve with code injection and the possibilities it has opened up over the past years. And yes, this is a mod for Sonic Generations.

This entry is a combination of 3 mods, Sonic 06 HUD, Sonic 06 Definitive Experience and STH2006 Project Shadow Demo.

Sonic 06 Definitive Experience features original models, animations, physics and character movesets from Sonic 06 by using code injection. This year's demo features:

• 06 Shadow with all his Chaos Powers from Sonic 06!
• New abilities like Chaos Control is also added
• All the abilities will be showcased in the Chaos Training Ground level
• Note that 06 Sonic, Elise and Blaze are not available for this SHC demo

STH2006 Project Shadow Demo will not be featuring action stages from 06 this year, but a tutorial level for 06 Shadow and most importantly, a boss fight recreation from Sonic 06!

• Chaos Training Ground - Custom stage that utilizes all 06 Shadow's abilities, it features Enemy Health and Custom Objects recreated from Sonic 06, this also includes the Bike, Hovercraft and Jet Glider vehicles! Play this level first to familiarize with Shadow's abilities
• Mephiles Phase 1 Boss - The FIRST EVER complete custom boss fight in Sonic Generations, Mephiles has more HP compare to 06 to accommodate Shadow's improved abilities, there is also a little surprise during halfway point of the fight....
• Other features like Title Screen, Main Menu and Loading Screens also made a return this year but they are largely the same

Sonic 06 HUD imports HUD by using the UI files directly from Sonic 06 or recreated using ImGui, this is mostly the same as past years but now compatible with 06 Shadow, with functioning Maturity Gauge (Chaos Gauge) and Chaos Boost level indicators.

INSTALLATION GUIDE:

1. Download the following external mods: Direct3D 11 and Better FxPipeline
2. Extract all 3 mods to mods folder
3. Enable the mods in the following order:

• Better FxPipeline
• Direct3D 11
• Sonic 06 HUD (SHC2025)
• Sonic 06 Definitive Experience (SHC2025)
• STH2006 Project Shadow Demo (SHC2025)

If you are using Steam to emulate non-Xbox controller, make sure Use game launcher is enabled in HedgeModManager or directly launch Sonic Generations from Steam, otherwise input may not work.

These mods are specifically built for SHC2025, any other mods besides the ones above are NOT recommended to be used, if you wish to do so please play the version released separately in gamebanana!
