Sonic: Amethyst Earth is a full game edit that features several custom stages and new sprites, as well as exciting bosses and tons of unlockables to collect.This version features:

  • Blossom Grove Zone, Acts 1 & 2
  • Venice District Zone, Acts 1 & 2
  • Arcade Mode (lives-based score challenge on a strict time limit)
  • 6 achievements to collect
  • 48 extras to unlock (concept art, early screenshots, scrapped development plans, etc)
  • 2 bosses (Geese Howard, Akuma)

Hey, wanted to let you know that there is an issue where in Venice District Act 1, one of the checkpoints has a Motobug placed directly next to it. This means if you don't IMMEDIATELY jump when you restart from the checkpoint, you are guaranteed to die from it. That's incredibly unfair and was also in the previous demo.

Okay, some of these levels feel extremely short, theres like one pit in act 2 of the first zone that feels really poorly thought about, why is it right after a loopdeloop? and like the previous comment said; the checkpoint in VD1 only gives you a 5 frame window to escape the motobug, i also feel that the act 1's of each level just sorta abruptly end? and sonic's sprites just look sorta odd, its okay i guess aside from these glaring issues though
