Description:

Sonic 3 Omega-mix is a project that based of the original Sonic 3 & Knuckles, which is aiming to be the definitive version of the original game with lots of new things added to it! The hack is being in a pretty unfinished state, but we still wanted to showcase this hack's concept as a build Beta 2.0

Main Changes and Features:

• New character abilities:
• Sonic: Drop Dash, Super Peelout, & Air Roll (W.I.P.)
• Tails: Flight Mid-Air
• Knuckles: Glide Mid-Air
• Global abilities:
• You can transform back into normal after you already transformed into super form, and into super again
• Small layout changes:
• Angel Island act 1
• Angel Island act 2
• Hydrocity act 2 (at beginning)
• Launch Base act 1
• Options menu screen has been added and was given a use for few new features of this hack!
• Palette Select:
• New atmospheric palettes for levels has been added, and you can choose between 3 palette options - Palette A, Palette B and Mixed option that is a mix of Palette A and Palette B (Note: the only zones that weren't given any palette options were Sandopolis, Hidden Palace, Death Egg and Sky Sanctuary, but they will be included in the next build!)
• Music Select:
• You can choose between 3 music options - Final Release, Michael Jackson and Prototype option.
• Final Release - not changed from original game.
• Michael Jackson - Same as the original game but includes Miniboss and Knuckles theme from standalone Sonic 3 game.
• Prototype - Includes themes from Sonic 3 Prototype 1103 for themes like Carnival Night, Ice Cap, Launch Base, Knuckles theme and Credits theme.
• New custom remixes were added - Title Jingle, Data Select, Invinciblity Theme, "Super Theme" from Prototype 1103 and a new custom theme for Mecha Sonic bosses in Sky Sanctuary act 1.

Minor Changes and Features:

• Options screen menu is using pachinko bonus stage background
• Level select uses new custom background that is referencing Sonic Jam's title screen
