"Time of importaint translations!" (C) - Some cool YouTuber

Hello everyone! Remember few years ago some little release of Sonic and Knuckles russian translation? I do, I did it (Holly Molly, I can't belive 2022 was so long time ago, mama mia). Anyway.

This year, as you might've noticied, I'm releasing Sonic 3 and Knuckles russian language translation release! ...yay? Idk. I know that not really lot of people will be interested in it, but here we are. I started this project back in 2022, to do something funny during pandemic, and I have ended by learning how game works. At least text. Also it allowed me to make some kind of guydes on how to edit text, such as title cards and other font. I haven't seen it before, and I hope in future it will help to new romhackers mess with S3K more than now.

Anyway, what's the point of this hack? The title speaks for itself- it is translation of text into Russian, plus it has additional modifications that were included to make game feel the way I like playing S3K:

• Competition mode has two different tracks: first menu has final game track, second menu has proto version;
• Both acts of Carnival Night and Launch Base are playing prototype tracks;
• Ice Cap act 1 has final game theme, act 2 has beta track;
• Knuckles and Minibosses uses S3 themes version;
• Super and Hyper forms has unused theme as music;
• Super Sonic has new additional sprite frames from Sonic Origins (BUG - some other sprites in S&K zones are glitchy for both Sonic and Super Sonic);
• Knuckles has little fix of his looking up sprites; now they aren't moving forward by one pixel;
• Big Arms in Sonic and Tails gameplay restored (BUG - Tails leaves Sonic alone during boss battle for some reason.. dies of fear mb?);
• Mushroom Hill renamed to earlier Mushroom Valley;
• Slot Machine uses beta-esque looking slots, that colorful than final versions;
• Sonic 3C credits music;
• Sonic 3 credits music in final cutscene;
• Tails has extra ducking sprite;
• Level Select was reworked and now can be accessible from beginning with no cheats needed.

I couldn't transform this project in something too different than translation, so I couldn't turn it into Sonic 3 Complete-2, or something Prototype-esque, so I mixed both. Also Sonic and Knuckles translation got good reviews from users, and some of them even showed me photos of replica cartridges with my translation inside that they made.. It was surprising for me, but it's good. Probably, later I'll post somewhere in comments box cover and cartridge label arts to allow people do the replica cartridges with this one too, lol.
