We regret to inform you that PimpUigi has been banned from the Sonic Hacking Contest, as well as associated events and platforms, in response to allegations of criminal sexual conduct that are currently being investigated by U.S. law enforcement, and the FBI.

The material unearthed is very critical, and the testimonies presented paint an abhorrent image. Given all that is currently available to the public, we believe that allowing PimpUigi presence could pose a very serious threat to our community.

We will also no longer accept submissions created by PimpUigi, or with the participation of PimpUigi in a major capacity.

We are aware that PimpUigi has gone by a number of alts. To quote the original Twitter/X thread with the material presented...

"Some alt accounts/handles include: Blackmephitis7, Lumin786, Uigi786, and most recently, SonicCDSpeedRunArchives."

...with the possibility of more existing or being made as we speak.

If at any point you learn of alternative accounts of PimpUigi, or other known dangerous individuals, please report them to our Staff at your earliest convenience.

We are also aware that his best known past entry, Sonic CD Restored, is speculated to no longer be under his management, but also that management of the entry was "given" to an alt. Future submissions of Sonic CD Restored at the Sonic Hacking Contest, as well as any entry known to have seen major development by PimpUigi, will be heavily scrutinized, before submission is allowed.

Unfortunately, we will not be redirecting you to the original Twitter/X thread with the material against PimpUigi. The material presented is disturbing enough that it could distress the younger and those more sensitive to the subject of sexual abuse. If you're going to search for the original thread yourself, beware.
