Hey y'all. I haven't posted here in a good while and I thought, with the start of the contest this year right upon us, I should to clear up things a bit, and why we're still here.

Let's start with the obvious. We're still on the old site, with the old design and whatnot. A new site has been in the works, but with both a combination of work stresses and my laptop going kaput at the worst possible time, it was not ready for the contest submission start. So.. here we are again.

Things have been sorted a bit with the code in the time we've had available, so things should be smooth sailing for this year's contest. The changes discussed as happening this year have and are all implemented as planned.. just maybe without a layer of polish we all would've enjoyed more.

However, the new site is at a state where finishing it off should not take too much longer. Doing web development for both a living, day in day out, and then working on it more in my free time, very much begins to teeter towards burnout, but we're nearly there. Once it is ready, I hope you all enjoy just what is there and the effort and labour that's been put into it.

For now though, let's give this version of the contest's site implementation a good final use and stand.
